I keep coming back to this place in Kanebis because it's perfect for me. They helped me find great places to eat, and it has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, parking, AC, laundry. Can't wait to return for Easter!

The twin room I stayed in at Gondwana Canyon Lodge was fantastic! It had a cozy vibe with a private entrance and a beautiful mountain view. Plus, having a tea/coffee maker in the room was a great perk for a caffeine enthusiast like me.
Personally, I found the triple room lacking a patio. But hey, that's just my preference.

Wow, what a weekend! The lodge was like something out of a fairy tale, with chalets built with rocks and surrounded by a stunning landscape. The small pool offered a spectacular view, and the mini-golf was a fun activity for kids. The staff was friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I also loved the fact that there was a lookout point nearby, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
That the lodge had a bit too much of a German influence for my liking. Instead of feeling like I was in Africa, it felt more like I was in Switzerland or Bavaria.

Felt like a true getaway, no complaint.

We got great value for our money at Gondwana. The room was excellent - clean, private, and with stunning views of the beautiful landscape. The staff treated us so well, they were sweet and helpful throughout our stay.
The morning meal could be improved with a better quality buffet main course.

The guestrooms at Gondwana Canyon Lodge are amazing! They have everything a solo traveler like me could ask for. The rooms are equipped with laptop-friendly workspaces, perfect for catching up on work or planning my next adventure. The air conditioning is a blessing, providing respite from the hot desert weather. The private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries adds a touch of luxury to my stay. And the cherry on top is the tea/coffee maker in the twin room, making mornings even better with a warm cup of caffeine. As a traveler who values comfort and convenience, the amenities provided in the rooms are a definite win for me.
If I had to nitpick, I would say that the triple room at Gondwana Canyon Lodge lacks a patio. Personally, I enjoy spending time outdoors, so having a patio would have been a nice addition.

I had an amazing stay at a lodge near Fish River Canyon with a stunning pool surrounded by beautiful Oryx and springbuck. The location was perfect, close to the main viewpoint. Despite some language barrier with a few staff members, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed the beautiful scenery and had a refreshing dip in the pool. after a 20-minute hike, of course. Perfect for those looking for a workout before relaxing.
Absolutely loved having to hike to the pool and not having any assistance, definitely worth the inconvenience. Who needs convenience, anyway?

I absolutely loved the room at Gondwana Canyon Lodge! It had a cozy, homey feel with a beautiful mountain view. Plus, there was a tea and coffee maker in the room, perfect for my morning pick-me-up. As an old person, I appreciate the laptop-friendly workspace and air conditioning. It felt like my own little oasis.
The only downside for me was that the triple room had a patio. Some people might enjoy it, but I personally prefer a private entrance.
